I don't always get pictures back with the cover on the steel, but here are a few I have designed in the past. It shows a bit of what I can do. I can get very elaborate, or very simple. Sometimes I have material that I don't post. If you have something in mind, please tell me about it.
Also know that everything is made custom. Nothing is premade. Nothing comes from China. (Well, maybe some of the material did originally...) But piping, binding, embroidery, etc. is all done by me and me alone. So I ask that you be patient as I do this work. I have a pretty good turnaround time, but sometimes things get backed up. Please allow at least 3 weeks to receive your order. It may not take that long though. It just depends on my work load.
Material Options:
* Vinyl - heavy duty, and handles wear and tear. Water resistant (seams are not).
* Soft upholstery fabric - durable, prevents scratches, and is more flexible for folding up and storing than vinyl.
* Duckcloth - used on most soft fiddle and guitar cases, and padded amp covers. Durable, water resistant, but like vinyl, the seams are not. Carhardt uses a softer version for their clothing. Also easily folds up for storage.
* Dust Cover material - that's about all it does - keeps the dust, and fingers, off!
Add Ons:
* Jack Input Cutout - Lets you keep the cable plugged in without having to unplug it to remove the cover
* Embroidery - Your name, logo etc.
* Padding - !/4" padding
* Piping - Rounds out the edges instead of having just a flat French seam
* End Caps - the two ends of the guitar cover are different (color, pattern, etc) from the center material.
* Straps - Great for outdoor gigs, or, if you pack your steel with the cover on, it'll keep it on.
Thermal Cover
It has been proven (by the players who have purchased them from me) to keep the guitar MUCH cooler than guitars without. At the same outdoor venue, the guitars without the cover started having things unglue, while the guitars with thermal covers remained unharmed.
